One of the greatest lessons I've learnt......

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learnt this year is that total obedience to God and His word pays tremendously. I am indeed a practical example of that. Truth is when God gives you a personal instruction to move, stay, do, not do, it is very imperative that you do it as He has said. It might not make any sense to you, it would never make sense to others, and people would question, cajole, mock and want to anger you as a result of this. Some will even ask if you heard God well and ask you to give them a breakdown of what God told you or what where His promises or on what ground did He say you should do what you said you heard Him say you should do.

Friends, if you have received Christ and you move according to His word, His spirit dwells inside of you and He can minister to you in anyway. When you are convinced in your spirit that God has instructed you on doing something, JUST DO IT. Many may laugh at you, mock you, but believe me, when you are sharing your testimony for what God has done for you, they will join you to give thanks forgetting they wanted to stop you but if you don’t obey, they will cajole you for being stagnant.

I just want to encourage you to trust totally on God, there’s nothing more favourable than that.

When Noah found favour with God and was asked by God to build an ark for rain he has never seen, experienced or imagined before, he trusted God enough and obeyed. We all know as a result of His trust and obedience in God, himself and his household where saved.

Abraham was another man that trusted and obeyed God to the very last. The one that struck me more was in Genesis 22, when God told him to go offer his only son whom he loves and offer him as a burnt offering to him, Abraham didn’t murmur or complain he just obeyed and from verse 15-18 God swore by Himself and blessed him. God is indeed good.

Lessons
*Trust God
*Obey God even when it seems foolish and have a cause to testify.
We should always remember that His thoughts toward us are that of good and not evil to give us an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).
