Welcome to 2017

 Welcome to 2017, a year that can be whatever you want it to be. If you say it is a year of plenty, you will have plenty. If you say it is a year of moving forward and positive vibes, it will work for you as you have said.

Someone once said in a meeting that “new year is just another new day”. Hahahaha! Very funny perspective but solely true. It’s obviously another Sunday not a “January first Sunday”. There is 1^st in January as well as there is 1^st in February, March and all other months in the year. There is no difference in the date and the year except you create value for those different dates.

Don’t worry, am not trying to change your ideology about a new year, am just trying to prompt the fact that if you are lazy and not deliberate about actualizing all the things you have enlisted you would do, not do and achieve, the new year would just be like the past years, making you remain where you are and not holding high value for the days & months spent in the new year. 

Do things differently and get better results, don’t be static. Read, learn, improve yourself, talk sensibly, ask questions, be positive, love people and love God generously.

I love Jason Kaufmann’s quote that says “The best way to predict the future is to create it” Don’t just sit and wait for a better 2017, plan, create and work towards actualizing it.

I rest my case.
